Marco Heise was born in a family of musicians near Frankfurt am Main (Germany) and began his musical journey at the tender age of 5 with lessons in piano, that were later extended by tuition in organ, harpsichord, composition, violin and conducting. Possessing an innate musicality and an insatiable thirst for knowledge, he embarked on an academic odyssey at esteemed conservatories, refining his technique under the tutelage of eminent maestros. As of 2023 he is studying at the Universität der Künste (UdK) in Berlin in various disciplines. Throughout his musical voyage, Marco Heise has graced prestigious concert venues nationally but also in many european countries, the US, South Africa and South Korea, captivating listeners with his impassioned interpretations and profound emotional depth. His repertoire spans a myriad of genres, from classical opuses to contemporary masterpieces, demonstrating a kaleidoscope of artistic expression.

He is an ardent advocate for music and fine arts in a humanistic way that strives for a holisitic understanding and mastery in as many facettes of musical expression as possible in stark contrast to the trend of overt specialisation, bearing a severe risk of becoming insular and not comprehensive. While enjoying performing classical works, mostly at the piano, the organ and other keyboard instruments, he has a deep predilecion for the art of improvisation.

Beyond the keys, Marco Heise is a cultural luminary, collaborating with different orchestras and esteemed chamber ensembles, fostering musical dialogue and innovation and composes ocassionally. While sharing the same thoughts about musical competitions as Béla Bartók he is the laureate of some and participated in numerous masterclasses and workshops, mostly instrumental, but also in conducting.
